I strongly encourage going here if you are in the mood for some Italian. My first thing I noticed going in here is the atmosphere is great, and the pleasant surprises don't end there. Our waiter was named Abby and it's been a long time since Ive had such a pleasant bubbly waiter, and her kindness was definitely a highlight. Then there is the food which was absolutely worth the shockingly low price. Overall our experice here was well worth it, and I will absolutely be visiting again
The food is always great. I love the pizza and any salad with the house dressing. Pasta and lasagna are also really good. It makes a nice date and they also have enough room for larger parties of 10-20. Don't go if you are in a hurry. Take your time and relax.
I've lived here for seven years and deeply regretting that I haven't been here until tonight. This is going to be our pizza/go to place for dinner out. The vibe/atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant, great for a date or chill feeling after a hectic schedule. The staff were very friendly and the service was phenomenal. The food was absolutely amazing. The pizza was, in my opinion, the best in the area, and I've eaten at pretty much every other pizza place around. We got a half hamburger pepperoni, and half pineapple Canadian bacon (because my partner is a heathen and doesn't mind committing the worst pizza sin). Admittedly, I did try a piece of that pineapple and Canadian bacon and I actually liked it, which is a first. There hasn't been a single other place I've ever liked that from. The marinara they use for the toasted ravioli is extremely good, speaking of, meat toasted ravioli is hard to come by here. Having grown up in St Louis area, that's a staple for any Italian place and theirs is pretty good. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. I am extremely happy that we finally gave this place a try.
Lovely little Italian place. I was passing g through town and decided to try it based on a couple of google reviews. Pizza was fantastic and really enjoyed the toasted ravioli. Don’t think you could go wrong with anything from this place. Highly recommend!
I had a generous, saucy piece of meaty lasagna. The sweet red sauce was delicious! I'd gladly order it again. The lettuce salad was a bit watery but was crisp and tasty with ranch dressing. The spumoni ice cream was really good with bits of cherries in it!
What's not love about this old school Italain spot! Friendly service, amazing food, quaint surroundings. Don't miss the pizza! Best salad dressing around. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose.
If you are looking for old school this is the place.... Atmosphere is warm and inviting and the pizza is delicious. Abby our server was a delight... very kind and attentive..... oh the calamari and cheesy garlic bread is the very best in town. First time here and it won’t be the last!!!
I had a great first experience at this cozy Italian spot tonight! My partner and I started with an order of cheese sticks as an appetizer—crispy and perfectly cheesy. For the main course, we ordered both the lasagna and the tortellini with meat, and they did not disappoint. Each entree came with garlic bread and the choice of soup or salad, which was a nice touch. The portions were very generous—definitely come hungry! The atmosphere gave classic mom-and-pop vibes, super welcoming and homey. It felt like a place that’s been loved by the community for years. Prices were really reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. This place absolutely deserves to be considered a Champaign staple. I’ll definitely be back!
